Peak 2020 Privacy Policy

Peak 2020 have processes and procedures in place to ensure the data we collect is secure and relevant.  The details below indicate the information we collect, where and how it will be stored, and who has access to it.

Information Collected

The following Personally Identifiable Information (PII) may be collected during the registration and application processes.

All Staff and Adult Leaders

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Address
  • Phone Numbers
  • Email Address
  • Scout and Guide Membership Numbers and Details

Participants and Young People

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Email Address and Phone Number (For Under 18 Members of Peak 2020 Central Staff)

It is the responsibility of a Group Contact to ensure they have the correct Consents for the information to be transferred to Peak 2020 systems prior to it being entered.  It is a requirement of attending Peak 2020 that the information is stored on the Database.

Where and How Stored

All information will be entered and stored in a purpose-built database system.  The system is housed on the Microsoft Azure platform in UK based Data Centres.  Strong passwords, firewalls and encryption protect the data from unauthorised access.

Who Has Access

Access to the data will be restricted to Directors, Managers and Team Leaders that have a need see the information and will be restricted to just the information they require to perform their Role as part of Peak 2020 Staff.

Staff and Group Contacts will have access to their own account to review and update information about their booking.

Exercising your Data Subject Rights

Peak 2020 fully adheres to the latest GDPR and Data Protection Policies as enforced in the United Kingdom.  If you wish to exercise your Data Subject Rights, please send an email to database.manager@peakcamp.org.uk.  A member of the team will be in touch to handle your request as soon as possible.
